We are currently in development on our first feature film, The Prize. The screenplay debuted at the Female Eye Film Festival Screenwriter Competition in Toronto in 2019 and was the Female Eye’s selection for Telefilm’s Talent to Watch 2020. Suzanne recently completed the screenplay with the support of Ontario Creates and was selected by CION (Cultural Industries Ontario North) to participate in their ‘project pitch’ initiative.

About 35G FILMS founder Suzanne Lacey ….
Suzanne Lacey launched 35G FILMS as a vehicle for filmmaking and collaborations. She made her screenwriting debut with The Prize at the 2019 Female Eye Film Festival and has since created two short films with festival selections at the Kingston Canadian Film Festival, the Toronto Short Film Festival and the Hollyshorts Monthly Screening Series in Los Angeles.
Suzanne was responsible (Executive Producer) for TVO (2nd window APTN) first dramatic series, Hard Rock Medical collaborating with Distinct Features to bring the series to life in Northern Ontario. She also commissioned The Water Brothers with SK Films (winner of the prestigious BBC Earth Panda award) and she production managed the multiple award winning documentary, Before Their Time (a Discovery U.S.-co-production) with producer David Way (now of Great Pacific Media) and directed two short films for broadcast on TVO. She is a graduate of Queen's University film studies with a certificate in digital media from OCAD. Suzanne studied writing with Robert McKee and directing with Maruska Stankova and Michael Kennedy. Currently she holds the administrative position of Deputy Director, English Canada, for the Bell Fund where she supports Independent Canadian producers.
